Flowers, colour and movement

My work with flowers is above all a search for light, movement and freedom. I do not seek to paint flowers realistically, but rather to convey an emotion, an energy and a sense of living nature.

I love working with vibrant colours, strong contrasts and spontaneous gestures. Splashes, drips and bursts of colour bring rhythm to the canvas. The flowers seem to dance, vibrate and move with the wind and light.

In this series, nature becomes almost abstract. Stems stretch freely, petals burst with colour and luminous backgrounds enhance this sense of space and breath. I seek to create instinctive, joyful paintings filled with energy.

Gesture is essential to my work. Each mark retains something alive and spontaneous. I like to leave room for chance in the painting, as though the flowers were growing freely across the canvas.

A free and expressive nature

Through these works, I seek above all to convey a sense of freedom and poetry. Flowers become bursts of colour, movement and emotion. To me, they embody the fragility, vitality and beauty of life.
